Vintage Carved Teak Foo Dogs: Hong Kong Statues, Set of 2

We have a lovely Vintage Pair of 2 Foo Dog Carved Teak Statues. Foo Dogs are symbolic, protective statues. They are a mix between a lion and a dog. They are designed in pairs, one is female the other is male. That is why the one statue is slightly larger than the other. The female represents yin and symbolically protects the people swelling inside the home. While the male statue, representing yang, protects the structure itself. These were acquired in Hong Kong Circa 1960’s. These are in good, vintage condition. Please see pictures and videos.
