We have a lovely Antique Victorian Style Silver Plated Figural Brides Cake Basket, Stand or Compote with Handle. R. Strickland & Co. was a silver plating firm operating in Albany, NY, from 1857 to 1884. They produced a variety of silver-plated items, including flatware, hollowware, and cruet sets. Some of their pieces are marked with "Warranted" or "Treble Plate". They also produced coin silver pieces, such as serving spoons, in 1867.

It measures 12-1/2" high with handle up (7" high - base to top of bowl) x 9-1/2" across

This is one of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever seen!
