Antique Kutani Deep Porcleain Bowl with Overglaze Circa 1800's

We are thrilled to be featuring this Antique Kutani Porcelain Deep Bowl. It measures approximately 7 1/4" in diameter, 3 1/4" at its base, 3" high. Kutani ware is produced in the souther part of Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It originated in the early Edo period, around 370 years ago. The style is known for its use of striking, vivid over-glaze painting. The red square mark in the center of the foot ring is a signature or kiln mark.
